This is like someone tried to make an art house version of Logan with a popular fair use character that got lucky enough to get Hugh Jackman to star in it. That is mean, but that's the best way to describe this film. It's a well shot movie, the limited action scenes in this are great, but it doesn’t know what it wants to be. Is it a redemption arch or is it a deconstruction of the Robin Hood character. This movie tries to do both and ends up feeling flat.

Outside of a couple of scenes Hugh Jackman never really gets out of first gear like he did in Logan. For what this movie was trying to be he needed to bring that of performance.

My review is a C. You can definitely wait for streaming.
