This film has the plot of a dark comedy satire but wants to be a drama. It should have been a comedy. This whole movie feels like a bunch of joke setups and no punchlines. There was one decent joke with Aaron Paul thought, I will give the film that.

I have a feeling the person who wrote this script was really influenced by Yorgos Lanthimos' film The Lobster. Just watch The Lobster instead of this. The Lobster does everything Dual is trying to do, but better.

It's a solid five out of ten. I want to see Karen Gillian in more lead comedic roles. I think the premise is genius and would work better as a miniseries on a streaming service and not as a 95 minute movie. It's on AMC+, I can't recommend.
